My journey started in 2015 as a Disney College Program Intern.
After working as a UX/UI & Product Designer, I have come back to Walt Disney World to help supply the Magic.
Throughout my career in the Confectionary, I had the privilege of becoming a Confectionary Trainer.
It was my responsibility to ensure that both new and existing Cast Members were equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to operate efficiently in the kitchen.
My goal was to equip trainees with the essential knowledge & skills necessary for them to excel in their Confectionary role. It fills me with pride that, even in 2023, I continue to receive messages from former trainees expressing their gratitude.
It is truly humbling to witness the lasting connections forged through my dedication to ensuring their achievement.
As a versatile artist, I find joy in a diverse range of creative pursuits, including my love for chocolate, sculpting, drawing, designing, and molding. My passion lies in crafting treats that not only taste exquisite but also captivate the eye. The added delight of creating magic in the process and the heartfelt connections formed with guests truly enrich my artistic journey.
In Fall 2018, we had an excess of round rice krispies and red chocolate from a recent Incredibles II promotion. Concerned about waste and potential monetary loss, I took the initiative to handcraft two unique treats: Jack Skellington Rice Krispy and The Poison Apple Rice Krispy. The designs were quickly approved, and we began production the following day.
It was an absolute delight to witness the immense popularity it gained, amassing a remarkable 11k likes on the highly esteemed DisneyFoodBlog Instagram page.
This level of recognition not only affirmed the creativity and appeal of the design but also served as a testament to the joy it brought to those who encountered my work.
With the approval of my leadership, I was able to create a custom Mickey Mouse apple for a Guest who was passionate about Frankenstein.
This request was for a Cast Members special milestone celebration. Using white chocolate and colored sugar, I was able to make a textured fun treat.
This was a quick fulfillment for a Guest Recovery during the Holiday Season.
My leadership team appointed me to create a feminine floral design for this special occasion. Within the hour they had a finished Krispy!
Using only pink, white and milk chocolate I was able to create the perfect skin tone for this Princess Leia Krispy!
Made for celebrating a Batuu transfer.
Dapper Day is a semiannual event at Walt Disney World and Disneyland that celebrates a stylish and elegant fashion aesthetic. Working alongside my fellow Cast Members, we entertained and guided guests, showcasing how they could fully participate in Dapper Day by purchasing the clothing options available in our shop.
